Grade Level Reading
Please donate new or like new books for children age 0-8 for the Juneteenth free Children's Book Fair in partnership with the Solano County Library.
This is a great opportunity for businesses, organizations and individuals to help children achieve grade level reading by the end of third grade.

APPLICATION DEADLINE EXTENDED TO
WEDNESDAY, MAY 6, 2015.
Applications for vendors and exhibitors are
now being accepted for the 2015 Juneteenth Celebration.
Download the Juneteenth application here.
Deadline to return the Juneteenth application with all fees is Wednesday, May 6, 2015. Mail to AAFRC, P.O. Box 5196, Vallejo, CA 94591.
All food vendors also need to complete and submit the Solano County Temporary Food Permit application directly to Solano County Department of Resource Management.

Call for Mural Artists
We're looking for a local artist to design a "Freedom" theme mural and work with children to paint the mural at the Juneteenth Celebration. The mural will be displayed as art in public places in Solano County.
Click here and let us know that you'd like to submit a design for consideration. Submit your design in jpeg or PDF format (8-1/2" x 11" document) by Friday, May 1.
